TrulyChinese: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Android

    → If you’re an android user, you can directly download the TrulyChinese app on the GooglePlay Store here. Click install and wait for it to download. Once it’s successfully installed, you can now use the app.

  • iOS

    → For iOS users, download the app on App Store here. Once you’ve opened App Store, click install and wait for it to download. When it’s done, you can immediately use the app.

  • To share your private photos, make sure you’re a Premium member. For more information on how to become a Premium member, skip to the next section.

  • If you’re already a Premium member, you can share your private photos through messaging. You can also control which photos to share.

  • On the top menu, click Profile and select GO PREMIUM!

  • You’ll then see a list of additional features that you won’t get with a Basic account.

  • Select your mode of payment and enter your payment information.


  • Tap the Profile icon on the top menu and select UPGRADE NOW!

  • You’ll see the added features that comes with the Premium account.

  • Select your mode of payment and enter your payment information.


  • Apple’s in-app payment was available on TrulyChinese. But recently, we decided to scratch off all Apple in-app payments and switch to a different form of payment.

  • To pay with your iOS device, go to the TrulyChinese website and select Profile. Then, choose GO PREMIUM!

  • Select the best payment method for you, then enter all the necessary details.

  • To successfully change your email address, click on Settings then select, Account Settings.

  • On the Email section, enter your new email address and click UPDATE.

  • You can still redeem your account if you forgot your password by clicking on “Forgot Password?” below the login form.

  • Once you’re on the forgot password page, enter the email address that you use for your TrulyChinese account.

  • Expect a confirmation email containing directions on how you can redeem your account.

  • To block a user, go to the member’s profile and click Block located below their profile information.

  • Once you’ve blocked a member, they won’t be able to see your profile unless you unblock them.

  • To report any dodgy activities made by a fellow member, simply go to that member’s profile and click Report located below their profile information.

  • State the reason as to why you want to report the member. You can even add screenshots of your conversation to make your case stronger.

  • Your report will then be immediately checked by a Customer Support Representative.

TrulyChinese accepts payments through Credit Card (Master Card and Visa) and Paypal.

  • To disable your account, click Settings then select Account Settings.

  • Under Manage Account, click Deactivate.

  • If you wish to recover your account, just log in with your old email and password. All information from your old account will be restored.

  • For membership cancellations, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service to assist you in cancelling your TrulyChinese membership.

  • Click the Settings icon on the top-right section of the page and select Contact Us

  • You may contact our 24/7 Customer Service through email or Live Support chat. We assure our members that we’ll respond immediately to help you out with your concerns.
