About me

Let me give you a partial outline of my life to-date. More detail is better discussed face-to-face. I spent most of my working life in the film and television industry. There were many roles - writer, cinematographer, director and producer. I owned my own production company producing mainly television specials for world release. I retired about 18 years ago, became seriously bored so did a master's ticket and worked for the Port of Melbourne as Captain of their rapid-response vessel doing search and rescue, escorting sensitive ships and anti-terrorism activities. Eventually, the crazy shifts decided me to accept an invitation to go to China to teach English as a second language. I worked for several Chinese schools for two years then started my own teaching business. Probably, I would still be there if I hadn't had problems with my eyes ... Chinese doctors are not the best, so, I came home for treatment. It took some time, but everything has been stable for over 3 years and happiness reigns and life rolls on. Once home, I realised that I had missed my family and friends a lot. There was not much to keep me in China, so I stayed in Melbourne. Since I returned I have located myself close to the Melbourne CBD and continued teaching English and also tutoring foreigners for the english test for visas or university entrance. Just love it. So many interesting people from so many different countries.

Looking for

What I want is that "best friend", a true partner happy to spend time in shared activities and who still enjoys the occasional adventure. I believe, and practice, respect and honesty. People who ignore winks are disrespectful and those who judge by age difference should take a chance on love.
