About me

I am sensitive, caring, empathetic, and passionate...spontaneous, impulsive at times but always focused. Although I confess it is highly idealistic and not always possible to live by for some, I believe true love conquers all obstacles. A quote from one of my favorite writers (Bertrand Russell) best describes my convictions and my belief system - "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind". I am looking for an "attractive" woman (not much taller than I) who shares some of my convictions/values regarding a loving relationship. Physical and sexual attraction is very important in terms of sustaining a romantic relationship, but hopefully followed by more substantive and important qualities that are the true essence of a loving one; intimacy, friendship, loyalty, gentleness, empathy, passion, respect for one another...taking it slow will give us a chance to get to know one another as well as the time to establish trust and talk matters of the heart. I am very easy going...gentle. I want to find a decent human being who has common sense, values family and is not afraid to commit to an emotionally healthy and caring relationship that will endure hopefully to infinity.
